“Love you Daddy”
“Daddy” the word itself has so much power and determination. And when I say this word, I always see your image in front of my eyes! I have been saying this word for the past 26 years and will proudly say for all the times and for all the years to come.
Mummy used to say it, “ when you were a kid and Daddy used to come from office and take you in the carrier and go out”. Though I don’t remember but your love for me has been the same even when I am now 26 years.
I got nostalgic when I saw the movie ”Ferrari ki Sawaari”. It potrays the same small cricketer Vatsal who used to go sitting on his Dad’s scooter in the morning. Daddy I can’t forget those beautiful days. I still remember when we used to go to purchase my books and new uniform and the cricket kit, you have never denied to me for anything.
I got to learn loads of things from you. Your experience has always helped me to grow professionally and personally. I need to learn the calmness from you. People say “Dhoni is very calm and composed; he never lets tension come on his face.” I think that moment that they have not seen you, Daddy. I need to learn that how to be calm in all situations of life.
My career has just begun, and I always try to follow your principles. You have always believed “Never do such works through which you cannot sleep at night”. When I get loads of work at office, its tiring, but when I think of you, you have always worked, worked and worked forgetting the time, forgetting the seasons and to that extent forgetting your health! I need to take lessons from you as to how you have handled so much of pressure, so much of work and most importantly without going away
from your principles. You have always worked like a fighter and have always lived like a warrior. Daddy, I really respect you!
People usually get tensed if something goes against their routine, in your life there has been many times when the routine life has got disrupted, but you have always been calm and handled those situation, which I think no one could have handled that beautifully. You have never let me or Mummy know that you are tensed, just thinking of us that we also might get tensed.
People love you, people respect you and the best part is people want to be like You. I will be the 1st person who wants to be like you. Though I know that I can never be like you, but at least I can give my best try and be like my Daddy!
Daddy, on this day of your retirement, I pray to God that you get strength and the power to overcome all the mysteries of life! As always you have been a strong person and you will always be! You continue to live the best after retirement, a life full of joy, a life full of happiness! May God give a long life, a healthy life and a prosperous life!
LOVE YOU, DADDY!
